Activity 2: Promoting Innovation for a Student Success Innovation Center
The Innovation Certification Program for the Faculty is an initiative of Activity 2 of the Title V Project that is aimed at integrating and refining innovative teaching strategies that allow students to develop a creative and entrepreneurial mindset. The strategies and theories discussed in this certification help the faculty to focus the content of their course, leading to the practice and development of skills necessary to learn, inquire, create, and investigate. The certification of the courses will be offered by the Innovation and Commercialization Support Center (UPR i+c) of the University of Puerto Rico in Río Piedras.

Requirement
- Being a professor who offers courses at UPR Cayey.
- This certificate is valued at $450, so the participant is required to be committed to completing a total of 30 hours of training, divided into 4 units of 7.5 hours (including theoretical and practical sessions). If the units are not completed, you must reimburse the Title V Project for the cost of the certificate, since it is subsidized with federal funds.
- Participants who complete all the units and activities will be certified by UPR i+c and the UPR Cayey Title V Project. A $100 compensation will be given to faculty members who complete all units. If you want to participate in innovation and entrepreneurship competitions in Puerto Rico (such as EnterPrize, i-Corps, and others) you will receive support from UPR i+c in the process of preparing the application.
